Join Team LSP as we once again join forces with Mike Goncalves and Chris Smith from the Wraith Chasers, this time to investigate the historic and imposing Ripon Workhouse Museum.
The current building dates back to 1854, when it was built as a workhouse for the poor, orphaned and destitute. It stands on the site of an older workhouse dating back to 1776.
Living in this place would have been terrifying! Families were separated, children removed from their parents, and most resigned themselves to the fact that they would likely die there.
There are many terrifying stories of hauntings within this building, from shadow figures of children being seen, the reported presence of an imposing man in the medical room, and even poltergeist activity.
